Logging into the Maventa User Interface
This support article provides general guidance on Maventa user credentials, using two-factor authentication, and resolving the most common login issues and software-specific situations.
Obtaining Maventa User Credentials
There are three ways to obtain user credentials for Maventa:
- Registering a New Company Account: Credentials are automatically generated when registering a new company account. Detailed instructions can be found on the support page Registration and configuration of a Maventa account.
- Adding a User to an Existing Account: An existing administrator within your organisation can add a new user to the company account. Detailed instructions can be found on the support page Creating and managing users.
- Contacting Customer Support: If the options above are not possible, credentials can be requested by contacting Maventa support via the Contact Information page (taking into account the software-specific limitations mentioned below).
Users of Integrated Billing and ERP Software
In most cases, the Maventa account is not managed directly via Maventa if you are using one of the following software programs:
Amili, Easor, Fivaldi, Greenstep, Hausvise, Netvisor, Passeli, Oscar Software, Severa, Tampuuri, ValueFrame, Verkkolaskut.fi, Visma Business, Visma eAccounting, Visma L7, Visma.net, Visma Nova, Vitec Software
In these instances, the user generally does not have direct credentials for Maventa. For questions regarding credentials and troubleshooting, please contact your billing software provider, accounting agency, accountant, or property manager directly.
Login and Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Logging into Maventa always requires a username and password, as well as two-factor authentication (2FA), which is completed using a separate authenticator application.
Logging in for the First Time
During the first login, the service guides the user step-by-step through setting up the authenticator application. You can find detailed instructions on our support page Two step authentication.
Subsequent Standard Logins
- Enter your username and password on the Maventa login page.
- Open your authenticator application (for example, Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Visma Authenticator).
- Enter the 6-digit code provided by the application into the field prompted in the login window.
Troubleshooting
You may encounter the following error message during login: "Access denied. Maventa is not available due to application policy."
- Cause: The user has an existing Visma Connect identity, but that identity has not yet been created in or linked to the Maventa environment.
- Solution: Please contact the Maventa administrator (Admin-level user) within your own organisation. The administrator of the company account is always responsible for adding new users and managing access rights. The administrator must log into Maventa and add the user to the company account, after which the login will work normally.
