What is the mass print service?
The Mass Print Service is an additional service from Maventa that allows you to send PDF format materials as paper mail both domestically and abroad. The service is ideally suited for mailing items such as invoices, direct debit notifications, announcements, or payslips.
Please note the separation of services: The Mass Print Service operates independently from Maventa's other services. Consequently, materials sent via this service will not appear in Maventa's standard invoice tracking list. Instead, they are monitored and managed exclusively through the Mass Print Service's own portal.
Technical Requirements for Materials
To ensure successful processing of your materials, please adhere to the following technical instructions:
File Format and Compression
-
ZIP Packaging: Materials must be sent as a compressed ZIP-file. A single ZIP-file can contain multiple PDF files.
-
One Letter per PDF: Each separate letter must be its own individual PDF file inside the ZIP package.
-
Page Size and Orientation: The recommended page size is A4 (210 x 297 mm), and the page orientation must be portrait.
-
Printing Method: Files sent through the Mass Print Service are always printed and forwarded as single-sided pages.
Envelope Allocation by Page Count
Letters to be mailed are automatically allocated to envelopes according to the following breakdown (per PDF file):
- 1–9 pages: C5 envelope
- 10–60 pages: C4 envelope
- Over 60 pages (61+): C4 envelope
Before sending your materials, always ensure that the PDF files comply with the official design guidelines (for example, the positioning of address fields). More detailed instructions can be found here.

Important Considerations Regarding Login and User Credentials
Old Maventa Credentials
- Credentials created before October 2020: If your Maventa credentials were created before October 2020, the password for the Mass Print Service is likely your original, old Maventa password.
Managing multiple company accounts (Restrictions)
If you manage multiple companies in Maventa, please note the following rules regarding user credentials:
- If you wish to use the Mass Print Service for several different companies, a unique, separate user credential (email address) that has not yet been registered to the Bulk Printing Service must be defined for each company account.
⚠️ A single user credential can only be linked to one Bulk Printing Service account.
Delivery Schedules and Distribution
The scheduling of the Mass Print Service is automated to ensure that materials reach recipients as quickly as possible.
- Sending Deadline: PDF materials that arrive at the Mass Print Service before 24:00 (midnight) will proceed to printing during that same night.
- Mailing: Letters printed overnight are handed over for distribution the following working morning.
Distribution Companies and Delivery Times
Maventa's printing service provider uses two distribution companies to deliver letters:
- Posti
- Jakeluyhtiö Suomi Oy (JYS)
📅 Please note the distribution time: Delivery time depends on the selected letter class. There are two options available for Finnish companies sending domestic mail: Priority and Economy. You can check the detailed and up-to-date delivery schedules directly on the respective distribution company's own website.
