What is the mass print service?
The Mass Printing Service is a PDF document delivery service that allows you to send invoices, direct debit notices, announcements, or payslips by mail both domestically and internationally. The materials must be ZIP-packaged, with one letter per PDF file. The ZIP package can contain multiple PDF files.
The delivery service is a separate add-on from Maventa, and materials sent through the service do not appear in Maventa's invoice listings, instead only in the mass printing service portal.
To ensure the quality of the printed materials, we recommend that PDF documents are in portrait orientation and sized A4, which is 210 x 297 mm. Files sent via the Mass Printing Service are forwarded as single-sided prints.
Envelope allocation is as follows:
- 1-9 sheets (pages) = C5 envelope
- 10-60 sheets (pages) = C4 envelope
- 61 > sheets (pages) = C4 envelope (manual handling)

Mass print service activation
You can activate the Mass print service directly through your billing software or by contacting Maventa customer service. More instructions can also be found in our documentation here.
To log into the Mass print service, you can do so through your software or the Maventa service at https://secure.maventa.com. You can find the login link in the Maventa interface on the Dashboard page under the quick links on the left in the "Mass print service" section.

Once the Mass Printing Service is activated, you can navigate to the service through your software or from the Maventa interface under Dashboard > Mass print service.
On the homepage of the service, in addition to sending, you can also edit settings and change the password used for the service.
You can change the password for the Mass Printing Service under "Change Password."
Note: If you had a Maventa account before October 2020, your password is likely the old Maventa account password.
After logging into the service, you will see at the top which company you are logged into Maventa with and under which company the materials are being sent.
Note: If you are a user on multiple companies' Maventa accounts, please be aware that your user account can only be linked to one Mass Printing Service account. If you want to use the Mass print service for multiple companies, there must be a user who is not already in the Mass print service. Alternatively, your current username can be linked to another company's Mass print service account (you must be a user on this company's Maventa account).
When are materials sent by post?
PDF materials that have arrived in Maventa before midnight are sent to print that night and are mailed the following business morning.
According to the postal service, priority class letters are delivered to recipients based on the distributor's regional schedules. You can check the specific delivery times with the postal delivery company. Maventa's printing service provider uses Posti and Jakeluyhtiö Suomi Oy (JYS) as their distributors.
How do I send PDF material through the service?
Below are the instructions for sending PDF materials:
- Log in to your Maventa account.
- Select Dashboard from the top menu.
- Then choose Mass Printing Service from the left.
- The page opens in a new tab at https://payslip.maventa.com/login.
- Log in using the same credentials as when logging into your Maventa account (The password can be changed via "Change Password" starting October 27, 2023) or with your separately created credentials.
- On the sending page, select a ZIP file containing one or more letters in PDF format (one letter per PDF file), optional color printing, and the letter class, Economy or Priority. Click Send to submit the file. You will receive an OK message upon successful submission.
- You can return to the list by clicking "Back to the list," where you can see the sent files and their status.
- Once we receive confirmation from the printing service that the letters have been printed, you will receive an email notification.
Each user can only be on one account in the Mass Printing Service. If you have access to the Maventa account of multiple companies, you can send PDFs on behalf of only one company with default settings.
If you wish to send PDF materials from the Maventa account of multiple companies, please contact our customer service, and we will open PDF delivery for the desired companies for free.
Before sending, ensure that the letter layouts meet the printing service's requirements.
Materials can include invoices, notifications, or payslips. They must be ZIP-packaged, with one PDF per letter. The ZIP package can contain multiple PDF files. PDF letters must follow the design guidelines; see the instructions here. The PDF material must include all the fonts used. Users must ensure they have the necessary font licenses for the intended use. See the list of standard fonts supported by the printing service here. The service provider is not responsible for forwarding incorrectly positioned letters!
