E-invoicing in Finland

Electronic invoicing is becoming increasingly important in Finland. It has been mandatory for the public sector since 2020, and while not yet mandated for private companies, its efficiency benefits are accelerating its adoption.

B2G e-invoicing

From 1 April 2020, all public sector operators are obliged to receive e-invoices

B2B invoicing is not mandatory, but many companies prefer electronic invoicing for efficiency and cost savings

Tax and compliance considerations
