24.08.2026 - Important: Update Maventa Connector to the latest version

Dear customers,

Maventa has released an updated version of Maventa Connector that improves security and brings the product in line with current requirements. We strongly recommend updating to the latest version within the coming months.

Why does this matter?

The EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) is a new EU regulation that sets cybersecurity requirements for products with digital elements. This covers hardware and software that operate in a digital environment and can connect, directly or indirectly, to a network. This includes downloadable software products such as Maventa Connector.

If an actively exploited vulnerability is detected in Maventa Connector after 11 September 2026, Maventa will report the incident to Traficom within 24 hours as required by law. This obligation remains valid as long as customers are using Maventa Connector, regardless of whether they have updated the software. This is an ongoing operational responsibility rather than a one-off compliance task.

The security and compliance of Maventa Connector are developed continuously. Service users are always recommended to use the latest software version to ensure system security.

What do you need to do?
